Bulk Export Granola: Every Meeting as Its Own File

Granola's built-in export is a single CSV, once per 24 hours. It arrives by email, the download link expires after 24 hours, and it only covers your own notes. If you want every meeting as its own file - something you can search, back up, sync, or feed to an AI tool - the native export was never built for that.

TranscriptExporter for Granola is a Chrome extension that connects to Granola's official API and exports every meeting on demand: one file per meeting, AI notes and transcript together, in plain text, Markdown, JSON, or CSV. No email round-trip, no expiring link, no daily limit.

The bulk export, in three steps

Create a Granola API key

API keys are available on Granola Business ($14 per user per month) and Enterprise plans. Generate one in your Granola settings - it takes under a minute.

Install the extension and paste the key

Install TranscriptExporter from the Chrome Web Store, activate your $29 license, and paste your Granola API key. The setup guide walks through it step by step.

Export everything

One run pulls every meeting with a finished AI summary as its own file - txt, Markdown, JSON, or CSV, your choice. Files download straight from Granola to your computer; nothing passes through our servers.

What "every meeting" means

The export covers every meeting Granola has finished processing - that is, meetings with a completed AI summary. A meeting still generating its summary is skipped on this run and picked up the next time you export.

Why one file per meeting beats one CSV

A CSV flattens everything into rows. Formatting is gone, the transcript is squeezed into a cell, and you cannot open a single meeting as a document. Individual files keep each meeting readable and usable: drop the Markdown into a notes app, grep the text files, or feed the JSON to a script.

On demand means it fits your workflow. Run it before a client handoff, at the end of every week, or once as a full archive. There is no 24-hour cooldown and no waiting for an email that expires before you get to it.

It is repeatable. Each meeting is its own file with a stable name, so re-running the export is a simple, predictable refresh, not a new spreadsheet to reconcile against the last one.

Common questions

How is this different from Granola's own export?

Granola's export is one CSV per 24 hours, emailed to you with a link that dies after a day, and it only includes your own notes. TranscriptExporter runs whenever you want and produces one file per meeting, notes and transcript together.

What do I need to run it?

A Granola API key (available on Business and Enterprise plans), Chrome, and a $29 one-time TranscriptExporter license. That is the whole stack.

Which formats can I export to?

Plain text, Markdown, JSON, or CSV - each meeting as its own file, containing the AI notes and the transcript.

Does my data pass through your servers?

No. The extension talks to Granola's API from your browser and saves the files directly to your computer. We never see your meetings.
