Can I export just one departing person's meetings?
Yes - both tabs scope by recorder. Pick the person (or their team) and the export covers every call they recorded, transcripts and recordings both.
What happens to the recordings after the account closes?
They stay in Fathom, behind a login you no longer have. The archive you download is the only copy you control - that's the whole point of doing this before the access change.
Does this work on any Fathom plan?
Yes, including free plans. The extension connects with the account's own login or API key and exports what that account can legitimately access.
How long does it take?
Transcripts: minutes, even for large libraries. Recordings: figure 50-350MB per meeting - our 156-recording, 25GB test took about 20 minutes, with a size estimate shown before anything starts.
Is this allowed?
The extension only exports what the connected account can already see, through Fathom's official API - no scraping, no credential sharing. Whether a departing employee should take company meeting data is between them and their employer; for admins archiving their own org's account, it's simply good records practice.
