Terms of Service

By accessing, installing, or using TranscriptExporter™ ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TranscriptExporter™ regarding your use of the Software.

TranscriptExporter™ grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Install and use the Software on up to three (3) devices
• Access updates and support for the duration of your license
• Use the Software for personal or business purposes
• Export meeting transcripts in accordance with the platform's terms

This is a license, not a sale. You do not own the Software.

Pro subscriptions are optional add-on subscriptions available per product. Each provides automatic cloud backup features for that product:

• TranscriptExporter Pro (for the Fathom extension): automatic hourly backup of new transcripts to Google Drive or Dropbox
• TranscriptExporter Fireflies Pro (for the Fireflies extension): automatic hourly backup of new transcripts to Google Drive or Dropbox
• Upload-on-export to your connected cloud storage

Billing Terms:

• Price: $6.99 per month or $69 per year, per product subscription
• Billing: Charged to your payment method on file at the start of each billing period (monthly or yearly, per your chosen plan)
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each period until cancelled
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime via the extension settings ("Manage Subscription") or the Stripe billing portal
• Access after cancellation: Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period
• Refunds: No refunds for partial billing periods (including partial years on annual plans); you retain access through the end of your paid period
• Promotional pricing: Where a promotional or discounted price applies, the standard price takes effect at the next renewal after the promotion ends

Pro + Video (Fathom extension only):

• Price: $9.99 per month or $99 per year
• Includes everything in TranscriptExporter Pro, plus automatic backup of each new meeting's recording (video/audio file) to your connected cloud storage
• Includes the Recordings add-on (below) at no extra charge, so bulk downloading of your pre-existing recording library is covered as well
• If the subscription ends, automatic recording backup stops, but the included Recordings add-on stays on your license
• Same billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms as other Pro subscriptions

One-Time Recordings Add-On (Fathom extension only):

• Price: $19 one-time - added during the license checkout or to an existing license at any time; also included at no extra charge with a Pro + Video subscription
• Enables bulk downloading of the video/audio files of meetings your connected Fathom account can access, saved to your device
• Tied permanently to the license key it was purchased for or granted to; not a subscription, does not renew
• Availability of any individual recording is determined by Fathom's API and your Fathom account's access rights

Note: The one-time license ($29) remains active regardless of Pro subscription status. Cancelling Pro returns you to the one-time license features. Subscriptions for one product do not grant Pro features on another product.

YOU MAY NOT:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Software
• Distribute, sell, or sublicense the Software to third parties
• Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the Software to develop competing products or services
• Bypass or circumvent any license validation mechanisms
• Share license keys with unauthorized users
• Use the Software for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Violate the platform's terms of service while using our Software

TranscriptExporter™ and all related intellectual property are and shall remain the exclusive property of TranscriptExporter™.

• All source code, algorithms, and business logic
• Trademarks, service marks, and trade names (including "TranscriptExporter™")
• User interface designs and graphics
• Documentation and user guides
• Any modifications or improvements
• Patentable inventions and trade secrets

You retain no rights to the Software beyond the limited license granted.

Commercial use of TranscriptExporter™ code, concepts, or algorithms requires written permission.

• Developing competing products or services
• Integrating into commercial software
• Reselling or redistributing the technology
• Using for commercial automation services
• Creating derivative works for commercial purposes
• Using our algorithms in competing tools

You are responsible for:

• Complying with the platform's terms of service (Fathom, Fireflies, Zoom)
• Ensuring you have permission to export the transcripts
• Using the Software in accordance with applicable laws
• Maintaining the security of your license key
• Not exceeding the three-device limit
• Reporting any security vulnerabilities to us

TranscriptExporter™ employs advanced technology to ensure license compliance:

• Real-time license validation during use
• Device fingerprinting and activation tracking
• Usage analytics and compliance monitoring
• Automatic detection of license violations
• IP address tracking for security

Violations will result in immediate license termination.

This license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms and conditions.

Upon termination, you must immediately:

• Cease all use of the Software
• Destroy all copies of the Software
• Remove the extension from all devices
• Stop using any exported data obtained through the Software

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

• We do not guarantee the Software will work with all accounts
• We are not responsible for platform service changes
• Export times may vary based on your internet connection
• We do not guarantee 100% success rate for all exports

TranscriptExporter™ reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies for violations, including:

• Injunctive relief and cease and desist orders
• Monetary damages and attorney's fees
• DMCA takedown requests for code violations
• Criminal prosecution for software piracy
• License revocation and blacklisting

Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
